Henrico County, VA (May 24, 2026) – A man has been arrested after a hit-and-run accident killed one person on Saturday morning, May 23, on West Broad Street (Route 250) near Willard Road in Henrico County.
Henrico Police said the crash was reported around 6:30 a.m. Officers responded to the area near Glenside Drive and Hungary Spring Road, where the collision led to a lengthy road closure while crews worked at the scene.
Authorities later arrested 41-year-old John Daniel Bruehl, who was charged with driving under the influence and hit-and-run in connection with the crash. No further details about the victim or the events leading up to the collision were immediately released.
