Round Rock, TX (August 19, 2026) – A dump truck and three passenger vehicles were involved in a deadly collision on Tuesday evening, August 18, at Chandler Rd and County Rd 119 in Williamson County. One person died at the crash site.
The deceased was later identified as 80-year-old Robert Busby. Three other people were injured and reported to have minor, non-life-threatening injuries.
Chandler Rd was closed in both directions following the accident. A section of County Rd 119 between County Rd 118 and Chandler Rd was also closed while emergency units worked at the site.
Both roads had reopened by 8 p.m. Tuesday, allowing traffic to resume through the affected sections. Additional information about the collision had not been released as of the latest report. The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and further details may be provided as the inquiry continues.
