Johnston, RI (August 21, 2026) – Mackenzie Antoch of Cranston was injured on Wednesday, August 19, after an E-bike struck a vehicle near 780 Hartford Ave in Johnston. The accident occurred around 8 p.m. as the vehicle was traveling east on Hartford Ave and attempted to enter a parking lot.
Police said the E-bike hit the passenger side of the vehicle. Antoch suffered a laceration and other minor injuries before being taken to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment.
Antoch was later taken into custody after leaving the hospital because police said he had an active Superior Court bench warrant related to drug charges in Westerly. The circumstances surrounding the collision remain under review.
