Millsboro, DE (August 21, 2026) – Five people were evaluated after a three-vehicle crash on Wednesday evening, August 19, on Hollyville Road just off the bypass in Millsboro. The incident was reported at approximately 6:25 p.m.
Initial reports indicated that one of the vehicles caught fire and was fully involved when the first crews arrived. All occupants of that vehicle were already out.
Five patients required emergency medical attention. Four ambulances transported patients from the scene, and at least two people were reported to have possibly serious injuries. A medical helicopter was requested but ultimately was not used. The collision remains under review.
