Weathersfield, VT (August 19, 2026) – A young e-bike rider was seriously injured on Tuesday afternoon, August 18, in a collision involving a car at Reservoir Road and Wellwood Orchard Road, just east of the North Springfield Reservoir. The crash was reported shortly after 4:00 p.m.
The rider was taken by medical helicopter to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center because of the severity of the injuries. Authorities said the young patient was conscious and in stable condition as of Tuesday evening.
The driver of the car remained at the scene and was cooperating with investigators.
Investigators continue working to determine how the crash happened. We hope the young rider recovers fully.
