Altoona, IA (August 17, 2026) – A two-car head-on collision was reported early on Sunday morning, August 16, near Hubbell Avenue and Highway 65. The crash was reported at approximately 2:54 a.m.
Responders were called to the scene, and the initial alert indicated that additional medical resources were requested. A later update said two more medical units were being sought. Investigators may review available information to determine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
