Easton, MA (January 8, 2026) – A 66-year-old woman tragically lost her life following a head-on collision that occurred on Wednesday morning in Easton. According to the Easton Police Department, the crash took place around 9:15 a.m. on Belmont St and involved a sedan and a pupil transport van.
Authorities confirmed that the deceased was the driver of the sedan. Emergency responders arrived quickly at the scene and pronounced the woman dead due to the severity of her injuries. The driver of the van sustained injuries and was transported to a nearby medical center for treatment. No passengers were present in either vehicle at the time of the crash.
Police secured the area and launched an investigation into what led to the fatal impact. As of now, no additional information has been released regarding the cause of the collision.
