Why Rollover Accidents Can Lead to Multiple Injuries
Rollover accidents often result in injuries to several occupants because the vehicle may overturn more than once or come to rest on its side or roof. The severity of injuries can depend on factors such as seat belt use, vehicle speed, roadway conditions, and the number of people inside the vehicle. In crashes involving multiple occupants, investigators commonly review the vehicle’s movement, tire marks, roadway conditions, and physical evidence to determine how the rollover occurred. Rescue efforts may also require specialized equipment if occupants become trapped inside the vehicle. These findings help explain the sequence of events and provide a clearer understanding of how the accident unfolded.
