Gresham, OR (August 28, 2026) – An elderly man suffered serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle near NE Burnside Road and NE Kelly Avenue in Gresham on Wednesday, August 26, around 9:10 p.m.
Gresham police officers responded to the area and found the pedestrian suffering from serious injuries. Investigators believe the man was attempting to cross Burnside Road outside of a designated crosswalk when he was struck by a vehicle. The injured man was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Authorities have not released additional information about his identity or current medical condition. Traffic on Burnside Road between North Main Street and NE Kelly Avenue was reduced to one lane in each direction while emergency crews worked at the scene.
