Little River, WI (July 25, 2026) – An 86-year-old woman was killed after being struck by a vehicle near the 7000 block of Hillcrest Road in the Town of Little River on Thursday afternoon, July 23. The crash was reported shortly after 2:00 p.m.
According to officials, the Oconto County Sheriff’s Office responded and found the woman unresponsive at the scene. First responders determined she had died, and she was pronounced dead at the location. A preliminary investigation found that a 75-year-old Oconto woman was driving southbound on Hillcrest Road when she struck the 86-year-old pedestrian.
The crash remains under investigation by the Oconto County Sheriff’s Office and the Brown County Medical Examiner’s Office. The incident remains under review by authorities.
