Tulsa, OK (July 28, 2026) – An elderly woman lost her life, and two other people were hurt after a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of East 21st Street and South Maplewood Avenue in Tulsa on Monday, July 27.
The police said the crash involved a black SUV and a gray Nissan Altima. Two people were traveling in each vehicle at the time of the collision. The elderly woman, who was riding in the back seat of the SUV, was taken to a hospital, where she later died. The SUV driver was not injured.
The two people inside the Altima were also taken to a hospital for treatment. Officials said their injuries were not considered life-threatening, and they are expected to recover. Investigators are still working to determine what caused the crash.
