Englewood, FL (January 23, 2026) – A traffic accident with injuries occurred Friday afternoon in Englewood, drawing a response from emergency crews to a busy section of Placida Rd.
The incident was reported at approximately 4:34 p.m. in the vicinity of 1861 Placida Rd. Units from Englewood Fire Station 71 arrived at the location shortly after dispatch and provided immediate assistance to those involved.
Medical responders evaluated several individuals at the scene. At least one person sustained injuries that required transportation to a local medical facility for further care. The severity of the injuries has not yet been confirmed.
