Kasota Twp., MN (June 10, 2026) – One person was hurt on Tuesday evening, June 9, after two vehicles collided at Highway 99 and County Road 21 in Kasota Township. The accident happened around 5:45 p.m. The report said a 2004 Toyota Corolla was traveling east on Highway 99.
A 2007 Ford Edge was traveling south on Golf Course Road before the vehicles collided; both vehicles had airbag deployment after the crash. The Toyota driver was identified as 54-year-old Kathy Ann Atherton of Waterville. She was brought to River’s Edge Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No injuries were listed for him in the report.
The roadway was dry at the time of the wreck, and alcohol was not suspected for the Toyota driver. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under review as more details are confirmed.
