Exposition Park, CA (January 22, 2026) – A Los Angeles police officer was injured early Wednesday morning in a two-vehicle collision involving a patrol unit at the intersection of Exposition Blvd and Western Ave, according to authorities.
The crash occurred around 12:45 a.m. on January 21, when a Mazda SUV reportedly collided with an LAPD vehicle in Exposition Park. Details regarding how the crash happened, including the direction of travel for either vehicle, were not immediately released by investigators.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and transported the officer to a nearby hospital for treatment. Officials stated the officer was in stable condition. The condition of the SUV driver has not yet been confirmed.
