Bellmead, TX (August 30, 2026) – A pedestrian was killed late on Friday night, August 28, in a hit-and-run crash in the 200 block of East Loop 340 in Bellmead.
The Bellmead Police Department and Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene and later confirmed that the collision was fatal.
Investigators said the vehicle of interest is believed to be a Ford Super Duty pickup truck. Authorities are asking anyone who witnessed the crash or has information that could help identify the driver to contact the Bellmead Police Department Criminal Investigations Division. The crash remains under investigation.
