Fallon, NV (July 18, 2026) – A semi-truck and an SUV were involved in a fatal crash on Thursday afternoon, July 16, on US-50 near Bottom Road in Fallon. The collision was reported around 12:25 p.m., prompting a response from emergency crews.
Officials confirmed the crash was fatal, but additional details about the victim and the circumstances leading up to the collision have not been released. US-50 was closed between Bottom Road and Casey Road while emergency crews worked at the scene. An additional closure was also in place near Gummow Drive and US-50 before all lanes were reopened.
