Brackettville, TX (August 9, 2026) – A fatal two-vehicle crash blocked Highway 90 West in Kinney County, shutting down the roadway as emergency crews responded on Saturday, August 8.
The Uvalde County Sheriff’s Office said the highway was expected to remain closed until about 9 a.m. while crews handled the crash. Drivers were asked to avoid the area and use alternate routes until the roadway reopened.
