Understanding Two-Vehicle Rear-End Collisions
Rear-end collisions often happen when one vehicle is unable to stop in time to avoid hitting another. Factors such as speed, distraction, or sudden maneuvers can increase the risk of impact.
These types of crashes frequently result in injuries to drivers or passengers in the striking vehicle, especially if safety belts or airbags are not used properly. The design and size of the vehicles involved can also affect the severity of injuries.
Road conditions, visibility, and timing of turns or stops play a role in how these accidents occur and how serious the outcomes may be.
