Charlotte, NC (August 18, 2026) – Four people were hurt on Sunday night, August 16, when a fire truck collided with another vehicle near SouthPark Mall. The collision happened around 10 p.m. near Fairview Rd and Sharon Rd, just south of the mall.
The four people inside the other vehicle were treated at the scene before being taken to a local hospital for evaluation. No firefighters were hurt in the crash. The fire apparatus was on an emergency call when the collision occurred.
