Memphis, TN (July 14, 2026) – Five people were injured in a single-vehicle crash on Sunday night, July 12, at the interchange of Interstate 40 East and Interstate 240 West in Memphis.
The wreck was reported around 8:10 p.m. after a vehicle struck the highway median. Emergency units arrived and assisted the occupants. Two women and three men were taken to a local hospital, where they were reported to be in non-critical condition.
No additional information about the people involved or the cause of the vehicle leaving the roadway was immediately released. Investigators continue working to determine the factors that led to the crash.
