Bridgton, ME (July 24, 2026) – One person was seriously injured, and five others were hurt after an explosion and fire at a home on Dyvonne Terrace on Wednesday afternoon.
Emergency units were called to the home around 3:30 p.m. after reports of an explosion. Five people were inside the residence at the time, and the home caught fire after the blast.
Four people had minor injuries, while one person was taken by air ambulance to Maine Medical Center in Portland with serious injuries. No names were released in the initial report on the accident.
