Phoenix, AZ (August 31, 2026) – Five people were injured early Saturday morning, August 29, in a two-vehicle crash on westbound Interstate 10 near 83rd Avenue in west Phoenix. The collision happened at approximately 2:37 a.m.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the crash involved a Toyota RAV4 and a BMW.
All five occupants of the Toyota were injured. One man suffered life-threatening injuries, while the available report did not specify the conditions of the other four occupants.
The BMW driver was not injured. Authorities said that driver was being investigated for possible impairment.
The cause of the crash remains under review. We hope all five injured people recover fully.
