Cabazon, CA (August 25, 2026) – A chain-reaction crash involving several vehicles was reported on Sunday, August 23, on eastbound Interstate 10 near Haugen-Lehmann MM 22. The collision involved a black Audi sedan, four other vehicles, and a motorcycle.
Most of the vehicles were reported on the right side of the freeway, while the motorcycle remained disabled in the No. 1 lane. A reporting party had difficulty hearing while speaking with dispatch and described two people as possibly having been hurt.
The available information did not confirm the severity of any injuries. Cal Fire was requested to respond to the scene. The cause of the crash remains under investigation. We are thinking of those affected by the crash.
