Los Angeles, CA (August 25, 2026) – A morning collision involving a semi-truck and a sedan was reported on northbound Interstate 5 near Paramount Boulevard on Sunday, August 23. The collision happened around 6 a.m. on the right shoulder.
According to the California Highway Patrol incident log, a white semi-truck, possibly a FedEx truck, collided with a dark-colored sedan. The sedan was pushed against a wall on the right side of the freeway. Debris from the crash spread across the lanes. A gray sedan was later reported with major rear-end damage, and a heavy-duty tow was requested.
Debris from the collision also struck a Chevrolet Tahoe traveling nearby. The Tahoe’s driver declined medical assistance. The crash partially blocked the slow lane while emergency units responded. The available report did not provide details on the condition of the occupants of the two vehicles.
