What Is Commonly Reviewed in Multi-Vehicle Injury Crashes
When three or more vehicles are involved in a collision, investigators typically examine traffic flow, driver reaction times, and the spacing between vehicles leading up to the impact. These factors help establish how the chain reaction developed.
Road conditions, visibility, and vehicle speed are also assessed during the reconstruction process. Medical transport records and injury reports may later help clarify the severity of the impact across different occupants. In many cases, physical evidence from each vehicle is compared to determine the sequence of collisions.
