Wells, NV (July 22, 2026) – Four people were killed, and four others were injured after a head-on crash on US 93 north of Wells on Monday morning, July 20. The crash happened around 11:39 a.m. near mile marker 79, approximately five miles north of the city.
According to reports, two passenger vehicles collided head-on, blocking both lanes of travel for several hours. Eight people were involved in the crash, with four confirmed deceased and four others taken to local hospitals for treatment. Multiple emergency resources responded to the scene, including aviation units that assisted with the response.
The roadway remained closed while crews worked at the crash site and the incident was investigated. Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash, and more details will be released as soon as they become available. Our condolences go out to the victims’ loved ones.
