Fresno, CA (January 13, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to a hit-and-run crash involving injuries on January 12 near the intersection of N Fresno St and E Shields Ave. The incident was reported around 6:08 p.m. and involved at least two vehicles, including a white Genesis previously linked to an earlier reckless driving call.
According to dispatch information, the suspect vehicle fled the scene, while the reporting party remained nearby in a silver 2024 Toyota Tacoma to provide details to authorities. A second vehicle, a white 2022 Toyota Highlander, was reportedly occupied by the injured party.
Paramedics were dispatched and confirmed for medical response. At the time of the call, the victim’s condition was not disclosed, and it remained unclear whether any individuals required hospital transport. Officers were advised to obtain statements if anyone was transported from the scene.
