Fresno, CA (January 21, 2026) – Emergency personnel responded to a vehicle collision with reported injuries on Monday afternoon near the intersection of East Weldon Ave and Maple Ave in Fresno.
The incident was first reported at approximately 2:33 p.m. on January 20, after an iPhone crash alert indicated a possible collision involving a blue vehicle. Dispatch audio confirmed that the alert was later upgraded to a confirmed injury crash after a victim on scene complained of back pain.
Fresno Fire and emergency medical units arrived promptly to evaluate those involved. Paramedics assessed at least one person for injuries, specifically back pain resulting from the crash. Additional details on the number of individuals involved or the extent of injuries have not yet been released.
