Fresno, CA (January 25, 2026) – A crash involving injuries was reported Saturday night on southbound Highway 99 just south of Belmont Avenue in Fresno. The multi-vehicle collision occurred around 9:43 p.m. on January 24 and involved a gray Dodge Ram pickup, a Kia sedan, and a black Tesla.
Initial reports indicate that both the Kia and the Tesla veered off the roadway and came to rest on the embankment. The incident was initially reported as a non-injury crash but was later upgraded to an injury crash (1179), prompting a heightened response from local medics and highway patrol units.
At least one person was reported injured, although the full extent of injuries and number of occupants involved has not yet been confirmed. Emergency responders arrived at the scene to evaluate those involved and provide necessary care. Southbound lanes of Highway 99 near Belmont experienced slowdowns as crews worked to manage the scene and clear the vehicles.
