Gilbert, AZ (January 7, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to a serious traffic collision on Friday night on Dennisport Ave in Gilbert, where at least one person required extrication from a vehicle, and multiple southbound lanes were blocked.
The crash occurred at approximately 9:58 p.m. on January 3. According to dispatch audio, the collision blocked both left turn lanes and the number three southbound lane, prompting a significant response from Gilbert Fire, Mesa Fire, and Queen Creek Fire units.
Rescue personnel coordinated efforts to safely remove an individual trapped inside one of the vehicles involved. The extent of injuries has not yet been publicly confirmed, and no details have been released regarding the number of vehicles or individuals involved.
