What injuries commonly result from two-vehicle crashes like this one? Whiplash, bruising from seatbelts or airbags, and strains are common even in lower-speed collisions. Some injuries, like concussions, may not show symptoms right away.
What usually causes crashes like this one? Distraction, following too closely, and misjudging another driver's speed or position are frequent factors in two-vehicle collisions, though a specific cause here has not been confirmed.

What to Do After a Car Accident in Glastonbury, CT
If you're involved in a crash, move to a safe spot if possible and check yourself and others for injuries before doing anything else. Call 911 even if injuries seem minor, since some symptoms take hours to appear. Exchange information with the other driver and, if you can safely do so, take photos of the vehicles and the surrounding area. Afterward, see a doctor for a check-up even if you feel fine, and keep copies of any medical or police paperwork in case you need them later.
