Golden, CO (January 20, 2026) – A traffic accident near Genesee Park on January 19 left one passenger injured and resulted in a vehicle being towed from the scene. The incident occurred near 26771 Genesee Ln in Jefferson County.
According to dispatch audio, the crash involved at least two vehicles, including a Honda CRV. The passenger of that vehicle sustained injuries requiring medical attention, though the extent of those injuries has not been publicly confirmed.
The driver of one vehicle was issued a summons at the scene, while the Honda CRV was removed via public tow. The other vehicle was not towed, as it was able to be moved off the roadway by the involved party.
Authorities remained at the scene to ensure traffic safety and complete their investigation.
