Kern County, CA (July 16, 2026) – A head-on collision resulting in minor injuries was reported on Wednesday afternoon along Caliente Bodfish Road in Kern County.
According to dispatch information, the collision occurred at approximately 5:25 p.m. in the 592–599 block of Caliente Bodfish Road. Initial reports indicated a blue Ford F-250 and a blue 2016 Ram 3500 were involved. The reporting party was initially unsure whether anyone had been hurt.
Both vehicles remained on the roadway, and a tow truck was requested to remove them. Fire personnel also arrived at the scene as the response continued. At 5:50 p.m., dispatch updated the call to confirm the collision resulted in minor injuries. The identities of those involved and the extent of the injuries have not been released.
