What Is Typically Reviewed After a Two-Vehicle Highway Crash?
When two vehicles collide on a highway, investigators often look at travel direction, speed, and lane position. Head-on or near head-on crashes can happen when one vehicle crosses the center line or when drivers attempt to turn or adjust lanes.
Airbag deployment and seat belt use are also documented, as these safety features can reduce the severity of injuries. Even when most occupants avoid harm, children may still require medical evaluation as a precaution.
Highway intersections like Highway 4 and North 4 Dr can present risks, especially at night. Reduced visibility and reaction time can affect driver response. Reviewing roadway design, traffic flow, and driver actions helps provide a clearer picture of how a crash occurred.
