High Point, NC (January 9, 2026) – A traffic accident near the intersection of Spruce Street and Hedrick Avenue on Thursday afternoon resulted in at least one injury and brought a swift emergency response from Engine Three and supporting medical crews. The crash occurred shortly after noon, around 12:05 p.m.
Responders arrived to find a damaged vehicle near the intersection with one individual requiring medical attention. Emergency personnel evaluated the injured party and provided on-site treatment. The nature of the injuries has not been fully disclosed, but the individual was reported to be conscious and responsive during care.
The scene caused some minor traffic disruptions in the surrounding area, located in a residential section of High Point. Firefighters and paramedics worked efficiently to clear the roadway and assist those involved.
The High Point Police Department is investigating the circumstances leading up to the crash. At this time, no contributing factors have been officially confirmed.
