Asheville, NC (January 9, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to a vehicle accident involving injuries on Thursday afternoon in the eastern part of Asheville. The incident occurred in the 200 block of Tunnel Rd near the intersections with Kenilworth Knolls and Buckstone Pl.

At approximately 3:58 p.m., dispatchers received reports of a crash with possible injuries, prompting a response from EMS Unit 13 and local fire personnel. Upon arrival, responders began evaluating those involved and provided medical assistance to at least one injured individual. The severity of the injuries has not yet been disclosed, but treatment was administered on-site and additional transport may have been required.
