Macon, GA (September 12, 2026) – A 34-year-old pedestrian was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle overnight near Spring Street and Willow Street in Macon. A 911 call was made around 12:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 10.
Deputies arrived and found the man lying unresponsive in the roadway, where he appeared to have been struck by a car. The driver involved left the scene without reporting the incident. The pedestrian was taken to a hospital and remains in critical condition. The hit-and-run remains under investigation.
