Shingobee Township, MN (September 12, 2026) – A 66-year-old pedestrian was injured after being struck by a vehicle on Thursday afternoon at Highway 371 and Timberglade Drive NW in Cass County.

The incident occurred around 4:02 PM on September 10. The pedestrian, Scott Kevin Kind of Crystal, was not in a crosswalk and did not yield to traffic before being struck by a 2020 Subaru Legacy. The Subaru was traveling west when the collision occurred.

Kind suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Sanford-Bemidji for treatment. The incident remains under review.
