Corona, CA (July 28, 2026) — Four vehicles were involved in a hit-and-run collision on Monday afternoon, July 27, on the connector from eastbound State Route 91 to northbound Interstate 15 in Corona, according to dispatch records. Two of the vehicles were identified as a white Chevy Equinox and a black Porsche Cayenne.
The left lane of the connector road was blocked as a result, dispatch information shows. Fire crews held a lane at the scene, and a vehicle was later found on the left shoulder and needed to be towed.
At least one person was injured, though the extent of the injury has not been released. Details on the other two vehicles involved, and on who fled, have not been released.
The cause of the wreck remained under investigation at the time this report was filed. We hope the injured person makes a full recovery.
