Intersection Collisions on Major Highways
Intersections such as U.S. 19 and Clark Street can create risk due to turning movements. When injuries are reported in Hudson, crews often work to stabilize traffic flow and assist those involved.
Highways that pass through busy communities may include intersections where drivers make turns or U-turns across multiple lanes of traffic. These movements can increase the chance of a collision if approaching vehicles are traveling at higher speeds.
Crashes involving opposing traffic at intersections may lead to severe outcomes because vehicles approach each other from different directions. The timing of turns, visibility, and traffic conditions can all influence how safely drivers move through these crossings.
