Indianapolis, IN (January 10, 2026) – An injury collision involving two vehicles was reported Friday afternoon on the northbound side of North Sherman Dr in Indianapolis. The crash, which occurred around 1:50 p.m., involved a tan Chevy Impala and a silver Hyundai Tucson.
According to early reports, the incident may have been triggered by a deceased dog lying in the roadway. A female driver in the Hyundai Tucson informed authorities that the obstruction led to the accident. Both vehicles remained at the scene following the impact, partially blocking traffic in the area.
Emergency responders were notified, and medical assistance was provided to those injured. The extent of injuries remains unclear at this time, though at least one person was reportedly hurt as a result of the crash.
