Indianapolis, IN (January 24, 2026) – A 27-year-old man sustained injuries in a two-vehicle collision Friday afternoon near Eskenazi Ave in Indianapolis. Emergency responders evaluated the passenger on scene before transporting him for further care.
The crash occurred around 1:37 p.m. on January 23 and involved two vehicles, one of which was struck directly on the passenger side while positioned in a turn lane at an intersection. The injured man was seated in the front passenger seat at the time of impact. The force of the collision resulted in visible intrusion on the passenger side, pushing the dashboard area into the center console.
Despite the significant impact, the individual remained conscious, alert, and reported no head or neck injuries. He was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. Paramedics noted complaints of back, right flank, and rib pain, though no visible deformities were identified during the initial trauma assessment.
The patient was transported to Eskenazi Hospital with stable vital signs, including a blood pressure of 118/75 and oxygen saturation at 100% on room air. Medical staff were standing by to receive the individual upon arrival for further evaluation and treatment.
