Indianapolis, IN (January 15, 2026) – Emergency personnel responded to reports of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle near 201 East Washington Street on January 14. EMS units arrived promptly to provide medical care and assess the condition of the individual.
Medical teams evaluated the victim for a variety of injuries and provided treatment on-site, determining whether further transport to a hospital was necessary. Police officers assisted by securing the area and directing traffic to protect both responders and bystanders during the response.
Witnesses at the scene provided information to authorities, helping responders piece together how the incident occurred. Crews also worked to restore safe pedestrian and vehicular movement along the street once the immediate response concluded.
