Indiantown, FL (January 15, 2026) – A tragic crash in the Indiantown area earlier this week claimed the lives of two people and left another seriously injured, according to information released by the Florida Highway Patrol.
The collision occurred around 2:40 p.m. on Monday, January 12, along Southwest Warfield Blvd near Southwest Impact Dr. Authorities stated that the incident involved a 2025 Ford pickup truck and a 2013 Toyota SUV that was stopped in traffic due to a construction-related flagging operation.
Emergency responders arrived quickly and confirmed that one individual died at the scene. A second victim was transported to HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital in Fort Pierce, where they later succumbed to their injuries. A third occupant of the Toyota sustained severe injuries, including trauma to the neck, spine, and clavicle, and was taken for emergency medical care.
Investigators reported that the Toyota had been stopped southbound when it was struck from behind by the pickup truck. The impact forced the SUV into the northbound lane, where it collided with a Ford Transit van. Due to the severity of the crash, traffic on SW Warfield Blvd was shut down in both directions for several hours while crews worked the scene and troopers conducted their initial investigation.
Florida Highway Patrol has confirmed that a 27-year-old man was arrested in connection with the crash and now faces multiple charges, including two counts of DUI manslaughter. Authorities noted that the investigation into the events leading up to the collision remains ongoing, and additional details may be released as the case progresses.
Our deepest condolences go out to the family and loved ones of the victims who lost their lives in this devastating crash. We also wish strength and healing to the individual recovering from serious injuries.
