Indio, CA (January 13, 2026) – Authorities have identified the motorcyclist killed in a two-vehicle crash on January 11 in Indio as 62-year-old Jerry Bradley, a local resident. The fatal collision occurred around 4:11 p.m. at the intersection of Avenue 42 and Calhoun St, involving a motorcycle and a Honda sedan.
According to the Indio Police Department, Bradley was riding a motorcycle when he collided with a Honda sedan driven by a 20-year-old man. Emergency crews responded to the scene and rendered aid before transporting Bradley to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs. He was pronounced dead at approximately 5:11 p.m. the same evening.
The driver of the Honda was reportedly unharmed and remained at the scene to cooperate with investigators. Early reports indicate that drugs and alcohol were not suspected to be contributing factors in the crash.
The intersection was closed for a period of time as officers conducted an investigation and collected evidence to determine the cause of the collision.
