Westminster, CA (July 16, 2026) – A two-vehicle collision resulting in minor injuries was reported on Wednesday afternoon on the northbound Interstate 405 just north of Brookhurst Street in Westminster.
According to dispatch information, the collision occurred at approximately 2:14 p.m. Initial reports indicated a gray Audi sedan and a blue Toyota sedan were involved. The Toyota reportedly overturned about five times before coming to rest on its wheels. Both vehicles blocked multiple freeway and connector lanes, creating traffic congestion.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the damaged vehicles, and one additional tow truck was later dispatched as the response continued. At 2:56 p.m., dispatch updated the call to confirm the collision resulted in minor injuries. The identities of those involved and the extent of the injuries have not been released.
