Orange Park, FL (June 8, 2026) – A traffic accident with reported injuries temporarily shut down all lanes of Blanding Boulevard near the Orange Park Mall in Clay County on Saturday night.
According to information released by state transportation officials, the crash was reported shortly before 9:45 p.m. near Wells Road. The roadway was fully blocked for a period of time as emergency units worked in the area.
Officials later reopened most of the roadway, with only two southbound lanes remaining closed for a short time. A subsequent update confirmed that all lanes of Blanding Boulevard had reopened.
The extent of the injuries was not released. No names or additional details about the collision were available at the time of publication. Still, investigators are continuing to examine the circumstances that led to the wreck.
