Jonesboro, AR (June 9, 2026) – A traffic crash with injuries blocked an intersection north of Jonesboro on Monday afternoon, June 8, causing temporary roadway closures.
The Arkansas Department of Transportation stated that the collision occurred at approximately 3:04 p.m. at the intersection of State Highway 141 and County Road 766, also known as New Haven Church Road.
All lanes at the intersection were blocked following the crash while emergency units worked in the roadway and assisted those involved. Officials confirmed that injuries were reported, though the number of people hurt and the severity of those injuries were not immediately released.
Traffic in the area was affected for more than an hour as crews managed the scene and cleared damaged vehicles. The roadway was reopened at approximately 4:44 p.m.
