Los Angeles, CA (August 17, 2026) – Four vehicles were involved in a collision on the southbound I-405 just south of Victory Blvd. One vehicle went over the right-side embankment, while another overturned onto its side.
The collision was reported at about 7:03 p.m. Multiple vehicles blocked lanes, and emergency units worked at the site.
The crash involved confirmed injuries, although the number and severity of those hurt were not released. One vehicle was located about 200 feet down the embankment and required additional towing assistance.
By about 8:28 p.m., all lanes had reopened. The cause of the accident remains under review, and additional details may emerge as the inquiry continues.
