What Information Is Typically Reviewed After a Multi-Vehicle Highway Crash?
Multiple-vehicle wrecks can involve several factors that need to be examined before the full sequence is known. Information may include vehicle positions, roadway conditions, traffic flow, and visible damage. Photos can help document where each vehicle came to rest and the condition of nearby lanes.
Medical records may also provide information about the nature and extent of injuries. Statements from witnesses to the collision can help establish what happened immediately before the vehicles came together. Vehicle damage, traffic signals, lane markings, and available video footage may provide additional details. Each source can help build a clearer account of how the collision unfolded.
